Chaplain Ralph Argentino
Rev. Fr. Ralph Argentino was born in Brooklyn, N. Y. on Aug. 2, 1942. He was ordained a Catholic Priest by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, in Rochester, N. Y. on June 1, 1968. During the last 43 years of ministry he served in parishes in the Bronx and on Long Island N. Y. He moved to the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Florida in 1985 and was pastor of several parishes in the Diocese. He was appointed the Director of Catholic Cemeteries on July 1, 2010 by Bishop Robert Lynch. He remains the Director of the Permanent Diaconate as well.
Fr. Argentino holds Master Degrees in Psychology, Patrology (first 700 years of Church History), and Theology. He is an adjunct professor at St. Leo's University, in St. Leo, Florida.
He was chaplain to the New York Fire Department on Long Island, chaplain to the Zephyrhills Police Department, and for the last five years a chaplain to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office before moving to Palm Harbor.
He is delighted to be of service to all law enforcement officers and civilian employees of the Clearwater Police Department. |
