CPD's District I (comprised of the barrier islands of Clearwater Beach, Sand Key and Island Estates) operations operate from 700 Bayway Boulevard.

The Clearwater Beach police substation building was donated to CPD years ago by the estate of Louis Vaneck, and was once known as "Louis' Roost" when it was a popular restaurant on the south end of Clearwater Beach. The building was extensively renovated in 2002 and a public grand re-opening was held on February 14, 2003. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation marine officers also operate from slips at the rear of CPD's substation.
