MISSING ADULT PRESUMED
'ENDANGERED'
Clearwater Police detectives
are reaching out to the Tampa Bay area public in their search
for a 30-year-old man who has been missing since November 1st.
MARK ALLEN THOMPSON (01-23-71),
of 100 Waverly Way, was last seen leaving a downtown Clearwater
lounge sometime after midnight on Wednesday, October 31st. Thompson
has a medical condition and it's believed he is without the needed
medication, increasing concerns for his well being.
Thompson's mother - with whom
he lives - called Clearwater Police on Friday, November 2nd to
say her son had neither returned home nor had he been to work.
Thompson's 1998 Ford Ranger pickup truck was found in Tampa on
Monday, November 5th.
According to Case Agent Detective
Chris Housholder, there is no evidence of foul play in Thompson's
disappearance, and it's being handled as a Missing Person investigation.
But Detective Housholder is concerned that Thompson hasn't contacted
his family or employer for nearly two weeks.
Thompson, a 5-foot, 10-inch,
160 lb. Caucasian man with brown hair (a photograph is available
at www.clearwaterpolice.org/news/thompson.htm) was dressed in
khaki knee-length shorts and a white shirt with blue stripes when
he left the Pro Shop Pub, 840 Cleveland Street, on November 1st.
Anyone with information about
Thompson is asked to contact Detective Housholder at 727-562-4365.
