The Special Operations Section is a part of the uniformed Patrol Division and is responsible for special event planning, Traffic Enforcement Unit, Volunteers, AmeriCorps Clearwater, Patrol Support Team, School Resource Officers, Hispanic Outreach, Off-Duty Police Employment, the Reserve and Auxiliary Program, and Street Solicitation Permits.
