ABOUT OUR PROGRAM - The City of Clearwater has implemented an intersection safety campaign to increase public safety and reduce the number of red light/speeding-related collisions. Learn more about the traffic safety improvement program. HOW IT WORKS - Traffic safety cameras are operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week, taking pictures and recording video. TRAFFIC SAFETY CAMERA LOCATIONS - The City of Clearwater has identified three intersections with a higher rate of red light running and red light running crashes based on data from 2009 to 2010. Find out where the cameras are located. NOTICE OF VIOLATION - If a red light violation is caught on camera, the information is sent to the Clearwater Police Department, where police personnel will review the photos or video.
