Finally, respondents
were given an opportunity to write any comments, questions or
concerns they may have. Many respondents wrote voluminous amounts,
which were copied and sent directly to the Chief of Police.
- Favors take-home cars. Feels safe in
northeast Clearwater.
- Feels safe and fortunate.
- Answering for a church, good job.
- Often witnessed traffic violations which were
not addressed.
- There are too much confusion and inconsistencies
in dealing with officers regarding juvenile issues. Officers
should be clear about what they know and what they don't. Officers
need to be better educated about resources that exist.
- Officers took too long to arrive on scene
for an alarm
- Ofc. Long is very professional and courteous.
Complaints on obscene phone calls are not handled properly.
Speeding and running stop signs is a big problem. Has been
monitored in the past but still continues.
- Chief Klein is excellent and understands
people. He is caring individual and good leader.
- Would be interested in viewing the survey
results online.
- A lot of people sales drugs in this neighborhood
and on weekends nights they do car races in here.
- Very upset about traffic enforcement
in construction zone on Enterprise.
- I want to thank the Police Department for
patrolling my neighborhood when we request it when go out of
town
- Thank you for more stop signs in the Del Oro
Groves and patrolling the area.
- City of Clearwater Police Department
murdered the man at the Virgin Mary water stain. Avoided responsibility.
Failed to prosecute Officer. I believe there are other steroid
users in the Department.
- Concerned about rapists and kidnappings.
- Request written statement,(handled report
poorly) rpt # 02-1838
- Strongly agree with CPD on recent baby-sitting
incident. However 9-1-1 operator may have handled differently
as to instructions. Thanks for keep us safe!
- Police visited our recreation center
and showed us your new mobile unit. Very impressive and informative.
Thank you.
- Too much presence at the beach - Place more
attention in crime ridden areas.
- Drug house at 2930 St Croix Street is
a concern in our neighborhood. The CPD is great.
- Speeders going through the Wood Valley
neighborhood are traveling 45 - 60 mph. I feel speed bumps
should be placed on the main roads in and out of neighborhoods
to control the speeders.
- You have too many out of state (New York)
officers on the force with attitudes.
- Speeding is a huge problem-especially on Enterprise
Rd. E.
- Although I appreciate the Sunset Point
Motorcycle brigade to slow traffic, I see that more and more
red light violations happen, especially US-19. Also, almost
no-one stops at the stop sign on Sunset Point and Soule.
- Thank you for caring enough to send a survey
to check on yourself.
