Finally respondents
were given an opportunity to write any comments, questions, or
concerns they may have. Many respondents wrote voluminous amounts,
which were copied and sent directly to the Chief of Police.
- Thinks CPD is well equipped and well managed
organization.
- Morningside Estates needs traffic speeding
problems remedied.
- Must have more exposure so we can feel secure
and safe.
- Interested in participating in ride along
program. Heard it was great.
- Doesn't have a lot of Clearwater Police
but hears good things. Keep up the good work.
- Holds highest respect for Clearwater PD
- Reduce amount of time officers spend in court.
- Would like printed info on laws. Thank
you to officers who come to annual homeowners meetings.
- Unsafe due to Scientology intimidation.
- Concerned with illegal parking, cutting through
parking lots to avoid lights, etc.
- I have concerns about off-duty officers providing
security at non-city locations
- I'm unable to answer all questions.
I live alone now and have minimal contact with people. The
police may patrol this area frequently, but I'm seldom out where
I'd see them.
- Speed bump/traffic calming needed 800-900
block Brookside Dr. Control of fireworks on holidays.
- Pleased to be a resident of Clearwater; hope
it maintains its current reputation.
- Glad to be a resident of Clearwater.
- Inadequate laws and lack of enforcement
on ones we have. Boot camp for young offenders - spend money
in the right places. I do not have a computer so put info in
newspaper.
- Officers are well trained, and it's nice to
know Clearwater has such a force.
- I think you have an excellent Chief,
and the rank-and-file officers are doing a good job. Keep it
up and we will have no complaints.
- You work under conditions I would have
a rough time with. I applaud your efforts, and I respect you
all.
- This survey is a great idea. I feel
very comfortable with the CPD. Keep up the great work.
- I have been involved in crime watch activities,
and the CPD does a superb job in this respect.
- Work on faster response time!
- This is the third survey I have completed,
it's the same always, and traffic is my big gripe. When there
is an accident, officers have a way gumming up traffic flow,
often unnecessary.
