Required Documents List

• Birth Certificate (Government issued) or Certificate of Naturalization, or current U.S. Passport
• Social Security Card
• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or State-Issued GED Certificate
• Unofficial College Transcript(s) or College Degree(s)
• CJBAT OR LE Academy Curriculum and documentation verifying 2 years of sworn law enforcement experience
• Successful completion of the CJBAT prior to applying. Not required if you have an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces or associate degree or higher from an accredited college/university
• IRS Paperwork visit local office ask for “unmasked” wage and income transcripts for the last 10 years

The following documents are also required (if applicable):

• Marriage Certificate (for current/most recent marriage)
• Divorce Decree(s) (for all divorces)
• DD214 (AND Letter of Good Standing for current National Guard members)
• Veteran's Preference documents (if applicable)
• Bankruptcy discharge including list of creditors
• Final court disposition of any/all arrest(s) (if ever arrested or required to appear in criminal court)
• Arrest report(s) for any/all arrest(s)
