Community Engagement Program

Our community engagement officers coordinate the police department's public outreach programs and activities. They are available to speak to neighborhood groups, school groups and any other types of organizations. They conduct outreach events such as Coffee With A Cop and participate in National Night Out. They collect school supplies and help distribute food for those less fortunate before the holidays. They also are fixtures in our schools and recreation centers, helping build a bond with youngsters. One such program is our summer reading program at Ross Norton Recreation Center.

They are an integral part of what we do here at the police department and part of the reason we consider ourselves community champions. If you have a concern in your neighborhood, you are encouraged to contact them.
